Yeah, but I suck at comm ownership and maintenance. Also...comms need peoples, or they're, you know, kinda useless.
GJ is basically LJ under a different name and ownership (and less shiny premade layouts). The TOS is also a little more lenient and geared in favor of users rather than special interest groups. Also; still free. The only snags I've found so far is that the 'extra' picture hosting service will shut your access down if you post snything other than personal photos on their gallery (although the journals themselves still have a gallery you can post to without that problem).
That, and if you go inactive for too long, thier icon server will eat your icons (so back those up on a disk or store them someplace else and use the URL option rather than the upload one.). The upside to that is that you can have up to 2000 icons.
