Twisted (and not necessarily an ankle, either...)
All righty.
So, I'm still playing Morrowind (and having a blast at it), and I make it to this nice fortess--you know, sort of castle looking thing made out of stone, high walls, places to walk on those walls...
Anyway, doing my usual walk around and steal anything not nailed down while no one is looking routine, and I find myself up on top of one of the guard walls at night (yes, this game has day and night--and it progresses as such unless you take a nap). Well, I'm not quite familiar with the layout of the place yet, so when I go into one tower to access the next wall over, I have a slight mishap.
I walk out onto the wall, thinking to make an immediate turn to the stairs and walk to ground level.
That was the intent, anyway.
Only, the stairs weren't there...most likely because I wasn't on the wall I thought I was on.
I fell...the screen went red for a second, I lost health points...
And then, one little text message flashes on the screen:
Your acrobatics level has increased to 7....
Now, is that just the perfect example of Murphy's Law, or what?
I laughed for a good minute, then limped off to find a bed and recover.
The silliest things amuse me...^^;
