And now for totally upbeat news...

You can rock me Amadeus.

$1,414.00 return. And that's after dipping into my 401k for some help.

I am of the money awesome. Bow before me! (or just be happy for me) *g*

(At least now I have a start on the teeth, yes? :D! )

Wow. o.o Gratz.

I'm nervous about our return this year. We're filing married for the first time, but we could seriously use your level of good luck with the return. We could stand to kill a few bills.

It's not so much luck as me letting them tax the crap out of me up front in order to make sure that I don't 'short' them come filing time and get the nasty surprise of owing rather then receiving. Budgeting year 'round is a lot easier and less stressful from my point of view than having more to spend upfront and being worried that I'll owe (and possibly not being able to make up the diff when that time comes).

I don't claim any deductions other than 'self' (which I think you're required to do anyway), and let them take at least 23%. Figure if the government needs more than that anyway, we're all screwed and it won't matter anyway. In the meantime, I'll be pretty confident I gave them my pound of flesh and then some. :)
