Dumb question

Because I never had a cat that did this before.

Foot seems to like to 'brush her teeth' by chewing on and dragging the bristles of the broom through her teeth.

1) Is this normal?
2) Is this an early indication of gingivitis or some other gum/tooth problem?
3) Should I worry and hide the broom?

He was upset no one was petting him.

I don't have a better photo of him. He's a hard one to catch!
