Yeah, there really is a National Hysterectomy Day--it was yesterday, at least according to the nurses here. Our Day Surgery area was hopping yesterday with mostly those types of patients (and more today to fit in the ones they couldn't do yesterday...).

And...I'm not sure what we're supposed to be celebrating in regards to the day, but...uh...

Yeah. >.<
