Yeah. I find the houses you get rewarded with, espcially if you do the House Quests, extremely disappointing. Not to mention crowded with NPCs that are near to useless by the time you've 'earned' them. (The book-keeping Hlaalu chick and her pal are easy to accidentally set off if you hit the wrong button or try to sell her the wrong book in the merchant window).
They're small, lack proper storage, and are out in the middle of BF nowhere.
The ebony weapons that come with the places though are nice.
I have all three. ^^ The X-box game we got had all three, so when I got it for the laptop, I went ahead and splurged there too. I'm also eyeballing the Tameriel mods online and debating adding a few of them. Already stole some hair and clothing mods. The head/face mods though are not co-operating with me when I try to get the plug-ins to work. :/
As bad as it sounds, I like going up to Solsthiem and go wolf-hunting with the bow. The graphics are lovely, and it's kinda peaceful too. Heck, I've been known to leave the x-box game on for the background sounds (I turn off the music). It's nice having changing weather, and the graphics as is are stunning.
