Huh

So...two Sundays from now, on the 22cnd, I'll be 38.

...I don't feel thirty eight.

And if I'm to believe the compliements I get here and there, I don't look it, either.

^^

Maybe it's because of your immature youthful attitude :)

Heh. I've been 38 since February and I can't tell any difference. In fact, I forget how old I am on a regular basis. "How old am I? 37? 39? What year is this?"

...what is this 'year' thing you speak of? 1987 was just yesterday.

Right? XD

Oh God. My Class of '87 reunion is in September. *dies of old age*

*Dies right alongside with you*

...god...that's what? the 20 or the 30 year one?

Wait, wait...I can still do math. I'm not that senile. Yet.

It's the twenty year one....

I've skipped all the others...we were out of state at the 10th, and the 15th kind of fizzled out before it got started. I'm really ambivalent about this, but I did find out that one of my old high school running buddies (the one I went to Bon Jovi concerts with!) will be attending, and I haven't seen her since 1988.

Now see, that's cool.

Most of my friends in HS were actually the year or two...or three ahead of me, or not even IN my school, so reunions for me would be sort of...wander around and wave and smile at folks who I sort-of-knew in school.

Not quite as much fun, especially since I can't claim fame as a writer or actress or someting like that. 'Receiving dock worker' just doesn't have quite the same kind of impressive ring to it, you know? *g*

Oh, and "I work in advertising" has such enormous cachet. :/

Hee!

Hey, at least you can play with that a little. It's pretty hard to make heavy lifting and tossing boxes sound good.

Maybe if you flex your muscles and threaten to kick some ass...

Heheh. Bow to the New Jesey Tough Girl stereotype?
