Total freedom=good things.

So I budgeted in a little play money for myself.

And got:

A counter grill(Less fattening than frying in the frying pan and better taste, esp. if you get a can of Pam made specifically for counter grills. ^^)

Two shirts--a really nice white tank with some frilly-like decoration (sown on ribbon, not actual frills--that would make me look like an over-stuffed dove with my chest), and a second tank-and-3/4 roll-up sleeve oxford-type set (I didn't realize the tank underneath was actually a separate shirt and not just a 'front' like a lot of 'layered-look' cloths are now. So technically, I got three shirts.)

A fourth bra (I think I'm going to buy one a paycheck until I have at least a week's worth. No more wearing the same bra three days in a row because, hey, you only have three to begin with. :/)

A really cute lime-green t-shirt nightie with some sort of cute poem about the moon on the front (can't read it right now--it's being washed so I can wear it tonight. ^^)

A nice tenderloin cut that is going to shortly meet Mr Grill, and then my stomach. (Hmmnnnnn)

Strawberries, two ears of corn, a tomato, and fresh broccoli and cauliflower that's going to get nice and steamed and buttered and likewise eaten this weekend.

A bargain find!

'The Best of Queen 1 and 2' for ten dollars (and if you think I'd pass that up, you're insane).

And (Beware, because I think only a true music geek will appreciate this), 'The Very Best of Dan Fogelburg'.

...Like I said, I think only a special few will appreciate that last item. *g*

...and I STILL have money. *g*

And now I am going to go bathe and contemplate the grilling of a steak. ^^

ETA:

Oops, nope. No steak tonight. 7:30 PM and that's a bit heavy for a late dinner (especially since I still have to unbox the grill), so I'll prolly have a roast beast sammich instead, and save the steak for tommorrow with the steamed veggies. :)

Daaaaaaan Fogelberg!!!!!!
The very first concert I ever went to was Dan Fogelberg. In 1983.
I like "Phoenix" best. What an awesome song.

Sooooo...of course that song isn't on the CD. *pouts*

He's great though, isn't he?
