I HATE Coporate America sometimes!

The one and only decent hard rock station in the Dallas area has replaced their morning programming (a little bit of news, a WHOLE FREAKING LOT of hard/metal/older rock)...

With a damned talk show that goes from 5am until 10 am.

You know, one that rates right up there with, say, Howard Stern.

(I think Howard Stern is an attention grabbing idiot asshole. I'd listen to Rush Lumbaugh before I would listen to good 'ol Howie--that's how much I hate the frizzy little beanpole. The man is a sensationalistic waste of skin.)

Give me back my rock, you assholes. You already shot The Eagle. Leave the last decent rock station in Texas ALONE!

Ugh. I'm so sorry. If you can get internet radio, you could try The Edge or Q107.

Yeah.

I'm allowed to have a radio (one of the advantages of working the dock), so I can dial up either of those--but the Edge gets into some stuff that loses a lot of the 'muscial' aspect of things, if that makes any sense? I like Queenryche, but as soon as the sound turns to mud or just 'thrash', I lose interest. I like LOUD, but I also like Good. ^^

I didn't know 107 has...wait, that's 'Jack' FM, isn't it?

Nope. Q107 is a classic rock station.

Oh! You could also try www.radioparadise.com and www.creamyradio.com. Those two are strictly internet radio.

It's happening to us to. Only instead of talk shows, shit "bands" like 30 Seconds to Mars and Panic at The Disco are being played on the same radio station as PANTERA. Something evil is afoot.
