(Sort of) Health Diary, and 'Unique Alarm clocks'
So, there's one thing I got to note this morning about living in an apartment complex at the edge of the metroplex. Which is, when the pwoer goes out? You know about it. Because the sudden silence of all four air conditioning units sitting outside your bedroom window is note worthy, even if you're in a dream that you really don't want to wake up from.
I woke up, noted it was five minutes before my alarm would have gone off (I have a battery-run wall clock), set the kitchen timer (a wind up) for 30 minutes, and went back to dozing. Fortunately, my laptop, which I had left on over night so I could recharge my MP3 player, could run off its lithium battery, so I had enough light from the screen saver to navigate the place.
Also fortunately, the power came back on right before I could experiment with seeing if I could get my contact lenses in by flash light without poking my eyes out or otherwise permanently blinding myself because I Just Didn't Want To Wear My Glasses.
Although that would have been interesting to try and explain to my boss as to why I couldn't make it into work.
The health diary hasn't been upkept these past few days because, quite frankly, other than swimming when I come home, I've been curled up and napping in between things like making dinner and taking a bath. TMI part being that this month of Being A Girl wiped me out for some reason. NO pain or anything...I just want to sleep.
The good news about that is that I was right in quessing my failure to lose a few more pounds was due to said feminine event; after gaining a pound Monday, and topping out at 209 on Wednesday (o.o!), I'm back down to 205 again today. Which pleases me.
Anyhow, that's it.

Lordy, me too. This week pretty much sucked; I couldn't do a damn thing. I think the heat makes it worse.
