Just a little experiment

It's easier to get to the cafeteria from receiving if I go outside and take the sidewalk around the corner.

So I ran it--both ways (I'd forgotten my spoons when I got my coffee).

My lungs didn't seize.

This might be workable after all. Don't think I want to sprint though when I'm running for exercise. At least, not yet. :)

(Also; I'm a lot faster than I remember being. At least for the short distances.)

but little sprints is called Fartlek and is how you speed up your overall pace. I'm just saying.

*nods*

Yeah. I will be working them in as I go, but I think I need to figure out my standard not-going-to-kill-myself-but-still-push-it-pace first. That way it's not 'walk, sprint, walk, sprint,' instead of 'jog. put on some speed for a few minutes, jog some more, okay step it up again...' which I think is the recommended thing to do...(could be wrong. I'm a walker and swimmer, not a runner...)
