Yeah, I haven't gotten that far into the email and web aspects yet, but then I don't have to worry just yet about not being able to access LJ from the work computer. But at least now if that becomes a no-no (which may be a possibility, since the IS dept. had to send out a 'no more streaming, or else!' email yesterday, because I guess so many people were using online radios and/or watching so much YouTube and similar video sites that the system was slowed way down. :0), I'll still be able to get online (makes note to bring power adpater with if that happens, so that I still have battery by the end of the day).

It's kinda sad though that IS even has to do that--it's not like we can't grab a quick look at one of the lobby TVs if we need to see a bit of news, and everyone is allowed radios, as long as they're unobtrusive and stuff. I mean, even the nurses stations have radios, and the people in offices are pretty much out of public eye, so they cna pretty much listen to what they want as long as they don't annoy their cellmates co-workers.
