Ah...Federal Holidays...

Good, because I actually get a few days off every year other than the weekend.
Bad, because I get an extra day off on the weekends...
Which makes me disgustingly lazy when I get to work the next day.
I wonder if they'd notice if I went back home and crawled under the sheets again?
It was a great extra day off, though. Mind you, the local transformer blew at 7 am and we had no power for about 4-5 hours, but hey...
Still a great, wonderfully lazy, totally decadent day...
Of course, it sort of ruined my fun...I was in the middle of answering a question at the wankfest when the power cut...have not been back since to re-answer...feeling too lazy to do it now.
Maybe when I get home...^^;
Maybe...
or else I'll take a nap...:D
half arsed recommendations:
Gothica--good movie, nice and twisted. People who don't like their brains taking electroshock therapy might want to avoid it though--it has good plot, great idea, but it's right in between being a good supernatural thriller and a good mystery thriller, which means fans who like one genre or the other will hate this movie becuase one does not overpower the other enough to plac eit firmly in a bracket. Most people arond here hated it--mate and I lapped it up.
Twisted--this is an all out thriller, and it;s named very well. even if you figure out the prime suspects, you'll spend most of the movie constantly changing your mind as to who is doing exactly what. My oen point of pride this weekend was figuring out the 'who done it' about 30 minutes before my mate (who is a crime mystery buff).
The Big Bounce--just fun. As convoluted as Twisted but with a lot of comedy thrown in. I spent more time howling in laughter than anything. Then again, I love Owen, so...:D
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (remake)--the first one creeped me out. So did this one. You know it's scary when your bladder insists on emptying itself every ten minutes or so...surprisingly not as gory as one would expect, considering that most movies in this genre nowadays think the more blood the better (and it actaully had less gore than the original)--but it certanly did a good job of creeping me the hell out, which is hard to do...
