I think the Barq's is prolly just as bad, you know? Lacks caffiene, but more than makes up for that in flat out useless sugar intake. Still...Barq's! Hmnnnnn (although the diet version tastes just as good, and I would have that instead if it had been available)

Heh, yeah, that's the problem, though, isn't it? Let food into the house, and next thing you know...

What I've been trying to do is limit what I bring into the house as far as 'bad' food goes--like, the chocolate is expensive, so I'm less willing to spedn money on it, and also less willing to gorge and be out in two days flat. I've also upped the fruit supply, and make myself reach for that banana or apple or strawberries instead when I get a sweet craving instead, and hold out oin the chocolate until my body makes it more than clear that a substitute for the craving isn't going to help.

My worst problem is resisting the urge to go get ice cream--there's a Tom Thumb right across the corner from the hospital (on a five minute trip to home), which is very tempting when I'm crving something, and then, get this, there's a Diary Queen right next to the apartment complex.

...I honestly think that's why I haven't taken a walk yet--I'm more afraid the ice cream shop will jump me than anything else. *g*

I think once you get rolling, you'll do great. You seem to be able to grab onto things and not let go, you know?
