So, you know, that whole circular theory?
Jun. 26th, 2006 07:26 amThe one that says life goes in cycles and circles and everything eventually makes it back around to the beginning again?
Uh, yeah. That really happens.
I reconnected with two friends that I haven't spoken to in well over seven years over the weekend thanks to being my usual 'yeah, sure, I'll click this link', and snooping around the schools listings to see who on LJ went to the schools I went to.
Let me tell you, my departure from their lives was not a spectacular fireworks display of momentus proportions, but I still didn't know if knocking on the proverbial door was such a great idea after all. (Yeah, I know--hard for you folks who've known me for the past year or so, and know just how riled and mouthy I can get. What can I say--there are things that daunt even me from applying my big 'ol mouth to it.) It was a scary thing to consider doing.
But I did it.
And I don't regret it.
Odd how just reconnecting can make a person feel lighter.
BTW, guys, just in case snooping around my LJ hasn't told you that I've turned into an opinionated little thing with foot-in-mouth disease, you'll learn soon. ^^;
*Hugs* to long lost friends. (Well, okay from the long lost friend.)
Hell, *HUGS* for everyone!
Now, back to work and then, yah, stuff. 'Cause life is still a rollin' (and I have pallets on the dock.)
***
PS--Have now managed to get some of the cobwebs in my brain out of the memory drive and all my schools are listed now. Go, me!
BTW, R? Don't know how the vacation is going in San Fran, but hope you're having fun!
