Argh and *sigh*

So, Foot loves her ribbon wand.

A little too much.

As in the past couple of times we've played, she's caught it, then proceeded to chew it to the point of starting to swallow it. O.o

Fortunately, she didn't manage to actually swallow it (she got maybe a centimeter's worth the second time before there was extraction of about two inches by Mommy), but that also means her fav toy is now right out.

Because ribbon plus cat intestines equal no good for kitty.

I guess the upside is that the ribbon is non-toxic. Downside, of course, is finding a new toy she'll enjoy just as much. :/

I had a dream last night

And it was a massively messed up dream.

See, I went to the Bon Jovi concert. And I got to go back stage. And there were...show girls...?

Anyway, so I get taken back to the dressing rooms and told to pick out an outfit, because I couldn't meet and greet dressed in my jeans and t-shirt.

So...I went 'shopping.'

Everything I found was either a bodice or a vest designed to act like a bodice.

Actually, they were pretty cool looking--the vest-bodices. I might try and get some of them on paper. Bastards were tight, though, like, um, a bodice.

My fav was a coppery 'snake-skin' one with antique copper fasteners designed to look like 'frog' clamps--the ties you see on oriental-cut cocktail dresses. It was pretty damned cool.

Anyhow, never did make it out of there before Foot woke me up for breakfast.

It amuses me

That it costs more to insure my cat (or rather, the vet costs), than it does to insure the stuff in my apartment.

By the same token, I agree with the sentiment that life, especially my cat's life, is more important than stuff. :)

Anyhow, insurance for Foot this week, renter's insurance (finally), next payday.

And then everything I have is insured, including me. Yay!
