Bloodwork.
Requires fasting.
Which means I am up and around without coffee in my bloodstream. And will be until sometime around 11am. That's six hours with no coffee.
I'm gonna die.

And now, you have a lovely excuse to hit a diner and pound back a few coffees and some scrambled eggs soon as you're free from the doctor's office. You deserve a treat, you've been fasting for bloodwork!

Date: 2008-01-03 01:30 pm (UTC)Yeah, hopefully, I'm just needing the yearly check-out. I'm pretty sure that's the case, but since this is the first time I've had a yearly in over a decade, there's that possibility that there's something that will need to be messed with. I;m just hoping that there isn't.
Heee, I wish! It's right in the middle of delivery chaos, so I'll have to come right back to work and scarf down my banana to hold me until there's enough of a break for lunch. Probaby no coffee at all today (because I won't have time to forage for it and by then most easily found coffee in this place have boiled itself to the various pots. Ew.), unless I hit up a Starbucks on the way home at 3. XD.
Or I suppose I could go get a Starbucks from the cafeteria now while it's available and then have the temptation sitting on my desk and calling my name for the next two hours or so.
...That's probably a disaster waiting to happen, right there.
