My favorite character I ever played was a nonhuman magic user-thief with a prehensile tail named Grey Rowan Smythe. She had an invisibility cloak as well and a mean streak, and was all lesbian with one of the other players (a guy playing a girl character). Needless to say it was not a traditional AD&D game :)
