So, over all, it was great. Let me say that off the bat. So was Daughtry.
Anyway. There were at least twenty songs, including the staples from way back when, a few from Bounce and then various songs taken from all the different albums. There were only...five songs from Lost Highway, actually, and Jon even sang three songs (and a medley of about 4) that weren't even the band's songs.
The energy level stayed high through out, and even though it was loud enough that my ears felt stuffed with cotton for about an hour after the concert, it wasn't so loud that you couldn't make out anything.
The guys mostly stayed on their marks and didn't travel much, except for Jon. Second half of the concert, Richie finally loosened up enough to start moving around, and even did three (I think it was three) songs on his own while Jon either took a break under stage, or moved out into the audience for his next song.
One bad thing that I did notice, and got irritated by, is that on a good portion of the songs, they'd change keys in the middle...which...yeah. These didn't seem like 'we're mixing it up' changes, but like they'd forgotten what key the next verse was in (or what key they'd just been singing in) and would go up or down a key. Sometimes, it seemed like it was Richie doing it, other times, Jon seemed to lose it. I think part of the problem is that the arena was too big and the acoustics suck, so they might have been getting feed-back and echo that affected what they were doing. They were never 'off key'...they just didn't always stay in the same key.
Crap...anyway, yeah, that;s the sucky write up. I'm still tired, which is part of my problem. But if anyone wants specicifics on something, tap me below and I'll drag it out of memory come morning.
As it is, I'm dead and need to sleep (as opposed to sleeping when I'm dead.) :P
