c) You never forget someone whom you've called friend. Years can go by without a peep from either side, but you're still there when the lines open back up. It's a admirable trait in a throw away world, even though it does cost you sometimes. Actually, that makes it even more admirable; most people would give up after so many times.

d) I remember the quiet times when we'd both be bent over a notebook or sketchbook, or I'd be watching or doing something and you'd be working on a new costume or some such.

e) wow. Um. how long did it take you to paint that dragon on your bedroom wall, anyway?

e) The short answer is, my title is Media Planner and Buyer, and I place newspaper advertising for the Arkansas Press Association (http://www.arkansaspress.org). Mostly in Arkansas (we have 129 newspapers in Arkansas) but also I do quite a bit of out of state buying, mainly in Texas, North Dakota and Wyoming (for Alltel...an account I will likely loose once the Verison merger goes through). My regular accounts, aside from Alltel, include HR ads for the Arkansas Department of Health and the Arkansas Department of Correction, the ADH "Stamp Out Smoking" campaign, anything classified as a House account that Ashley doesn't handle, and anything that comes in to us from another Press Association.
The longer version is, a lot of time I'll get an email with a list of zip codes to cover and a dollar amount to stay under, and I have to figure what size ads in how many papers work out within those parameters. That's kind of fun. Right now I have a big project going placing legal announcements for Windstream in 840 newspapers across the nation. I started working on that one in July and will finish sometime in December...the ads run the first week of November, and it will take another 6 weeks after that to get everything reconciled. Anyway, I send the insertion orders, traffic the ads, collect the tearsheets, troubleshoot when needed, and send the invoices to the client. I stop short of actually having to deal with bookkeeping and money; that's Terri's job. And I also don't have to go out of the office and cold-call; Ashley and Dave do that.

BTW, been practicing with a belf hunter, so I might not be quite so retarded next time we play. And yes, I want a kitty, even though I don't like the looks of the nightsabers quite as much as I like the looks of the springpaws. *g*

Anyhow...

a) Because I've known you forever and a day, and I missed my brother as much as I missed my sister.

b) Renfaire, Tucson, Clue and that horned crown. And pirates, for some reason. XD

c) You've always been calm and reasonable, and like Clue, you do not readily give up your friendships. Neither one of you consider loved ones disposable.

d) Playing Runequest together, watching you play Doom on the computer, that time when I grunted at dinner at Calliegh when asking for something and made you laugh...

e) Long story - hah! When my husband first met me (at the innocent age of 17), I was teeny tiny slim with HUGE boobs. He told me I looked like a Barbie doll and it stuck. I made this journal on a whim initially to write kinky erotic fic, and NEVER did it. Hence the 'slave' bit *blush*. Then I made an account at Gaia, where as you know you dress up your little doll/avatar and I was addicted to dressing it up, so my doll/avatar was a Barbie and I was a slave to dressing it up, because I'm a sad geek.

So double meaning, and I've been considering making a new RL/mun journal for like ever now, because this one makes people think I'm a cyber bondage freak, which I'm not. XD

And I really need some new icons, and to actually use this journal regularly.

PS: I have a kitten, and am as cat obsessed as you now. D'awwww.
