Yeah, what you said! An American mother makes for an American baby, no matter where he was actually born. Citizenship is automatically conveyed. And, don't be bringing up the birth certificate thing unless you want to get in a big discussion about the Panama Canal Zone and if it was or was not part of the United States in 1936. Plus, Obama is the president-elect now so they need to just get over it already, the same way I've gritted my teeth and withstood the current administration for the last eight years.
On a side note I'm fixing to get all soapboxy on the people that say abbreviating "Christmas" to "Xmas" removes Christ from the word. X is pronounced Chi for pity's sake, and it's been an abbreviation for Christ for thousands of years. Doesn't anyone study Greek in Sunday School anymore?? /rant
