Loved the first The Crow
The second one, quite frankly, was pretty bad. And I;m not just saying that because they over-threw Jon Bon Jovi for an unknown for the lead role.
I'm actually liking The Crow: Salvation. Still can't hold a candle to the original, but definitely better than #2. I think maybe it's because it makes nods to the first film, both in cinematography moments, as well as careful choosing of certain 'tag words', but it also is it's own movie, and not a desperate attempt at a rehash of the first movie. It doesn't have the same grit, no, but it's got its own feel. And the actor doesn't try to be Brandon Lee, which gave me more time to actually appreciate the job he's doing.
