Computer qeek question
Jul. 23rd, 2009 11:47 amI converted my WoW account to the stupid battlenet thing, and now I can't connect.
I alredy did the first three things on the suggestion list at WoW/battlenet help. IE; Checked my proxy choices, made sure the wtf folder had the right info, checked my ports.
What's next? is there a wait period?

Date: 2009-07-23 10:03 pm (UTC)It was suggested I restart my computer, and this is the first time since I posted that that's happened, so I'll give it another shot.
*hugs*

Date: 2009-07-24 07:33 am (UTC)I can't find a permanent fix for it, so I just close WoW, then try again in about 15 minutes. I just keep doing this until it works.

Date: 2009-07-24 11:04 am (UTC)This is basically the game telling me I'm not using the right password and/or ID even though it's the same one now that you use to log into battlenet. Did some asking on wow ladies, changed an access permission on my antivirus, and now it's been narrowed down to possibly me somehow managing to create a 'UK' battlenet account (because now it'll accept the password and stuff but instead tells me that the login server is 'busy').
Anyhow, I contacted Blizz last night via email, and they responded and asked me to call in today, so there's some progress. At least they know I'm needing some help.
