I realize that sometimes the spats that happen on RPG's, or really, any online community, can seem pretty asinine to outsiders. I'll admit that I 'helped' the mess on the HL community along a little before I actually sat down and talked to the mods on IM afterwards and therefore added to the...how is it put? "wangsty" feel of the whole situation.
And yes, a few things happened, a few things were said and a few people got pissy and left or got into it with others or whatever...but still, that's what happens any time you have a community online. It's normal. It also got worked out.
What amuses me though is that these guys seem to think that their own commentary on the subject is...I dunno...witty?
I'll vote for the word one of them used: Ironic.
But that I suppose is amusing in and of itself. And although they seem to think they know what the word means...they certainly can't seem to see that it applies to themselves as well...
