A while back, I heard someone told Richie that wearing his trademark hat would remind everyone of Brokeback Mountain (Which is actually both a good movie and a good short story as long as you're not ridiculously homophobic), so he quit wearing it.

What idiot was that? I'd like to kill him, because Richie looked good in hats...

The hat would have never made me think of Brokeback Mountain had you not mentioned it because 1) Richie's not gay and 2) there are no sheep in Bon Jovi.

That's what I heard, yeah. Don't remember where though.

And yeah, Richie's hat(s) is/are more of a fedora style anyway. :/ Why anyone would equate that with a Stetson, I have no idea...

*shakes head* it's a shame, really, because honestly, they made it all the way through the 'big hair' 80's with all those colorful clothes (that earned a lot more snide 'gay' remarks from folks than that hat ever did. I mean, 'cmon...Jon with his lavendar leather pants? And hairspray and mousse products from hell? Yeah.) without having identity problems. :/

I think that once you start to eat healthy, anything that is artificial starts to taste bad. I quit drinking soda amoung other things because of my stomache issues, and now if I get a sip...it tastes like chemicals to me. It's just not that good. And I used to love coca-cola.
