Health Diary!

I included a calorie count this time as well, both out of interest and because, well, I've run into a lot of pro-ana sites and private LJ's lately where the people think they need to do extreme cuts in their diets and calorie intake to lose weight. We're talking 300 cals max a day for some of these folks, if they even eat that much. Which, frankly, scares the shit out of me.
As you can see by the end count here; that ain't so. Anyone who's been keeping track of my progress with me knows I eat more or less this amount of food (and therefore calories) every day, and am still losing, on average, one to three pounds a week. You don't need to starve yourself to get healthy and get to a healthy weight. :)
21oz thermos of coffee and creamer (I got the amount wrong last night--still, considering I was drinking up to 4 16oz mugs each day, I've cut the amount down to a 1/4 of my intake. Not bad, if I do say so myself. :) ) (200 cal)
1 cup shredded wheat with 1/2 cup skim milk (240 cals)
12oz bottle of V8 (70 cals)
1 banana (95 cals)
2 16oz mugs of water (0 cals)
1 cup beef stew (486 cals)
1 apple (65 cals)
1 orange (188 cals)
4 16oz mugs of water (I drink more water when I drink less coffee. :) ) (0 cals)
1 hour swim
1 cup chunky salsa with 20 corn chips. (460 cals)
1 16oz glass of water (0 cals)
YoPlait cherry yogurt (170 cals)
2 squares cacao chocolate (110 cals)
1 8oz glass of V8 (50 cals)
3 16 oz glass of water. (0 cals)
--Oops, forgot the sugar cookie from this morning. (180 cals)
