ETA: Secondary Video--fan made. Good music. More cutscenes. Lots of guns.

Hmmm

'Terra in Black' (Original is just called 'Terra's Theme' IIRC)

I just had a Geek-gasm watching a trailer for FF13.

You all who care have probably already seen this, but I just found it tonight.

The CGI and the battle screens are fucking seamless!

If the game itself is even half as good as the graphics, I'm going to be GLUED to my PS3 when it becomes available.

OMG. The US release date cannot come soon enough.
silverthorne: (A Million Ideas)
If you haven't figured it out, I've been trying to figure out if there's an interest in a Final Fantasy based RPG, and what people would want to play if there was one. Because yes, I am toying with the idea. I will likely do more than toy if I know there's an interest.

So, indulge me one more time--anyone and everyone who wants to, even if you havn't been answering up 'til now--and tell me what you think. Comment below for more info, either mine or yours.

Here you go )

And yes, I might be up to something. Or not.

More Poll things )
silverthorne: (Auron and Sin)
As promised, the next part. :) Same rules.

Also--It should be Red/Time mages. Oops.

Once more under the cut )

Which means it's poll time.
This one is for Final Fantasy fans.
Feel free to 1) Make more complete answers in comments and 2) Take the poll more than once if it won't let you chose more than one answer. :)

I might have a reason for asking all this shit. Maybe. :)

Poll under here because it eats flist pages... )

You are Bahamut!
You scored 16 good or evil, 15 spirituality, 8 power, and 12 intelligence!
Do you hear that? Something on the horizon stirs a cyclone from thin air, clouds boil and darken, the air grows chill as an unmistakeable sound pierces the air. The clouds part and a stream of pure white light streaks the sky, obliterating anything it touches, sparking countless explosions and drawing both gasps of terror and screams of agony in chorus. Granted, Bahamut has been known to play both sides, but he's usually on the side of good. He's extremely old, very wise, and lacking none of the power he wielded long ago. Basically he's a demi-god, but for our purposes he's the embodiment of all the best traits - intelligence, spirit, strength and good. Appearing in practically every single Final Fantasy in some form or other, Bahamut is synonymous with not only power, but strength of will, wisdom and strength of character. I must applaud you, test taker, for you are in a class all your own. If you really measure up to Bahamut's impressive list of attributes, you're alright in my book. Your polar opposite is the Goblin. You're likely to get along with anyone aligned with Good.

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

Okay, for those of you who have art programs of their own, have probably had them for years, and probably know everything there is to know about them, either by dint of an instruction manual or classes that will teach you how to use the dern thing, this is probably no big deal, and you'll be yawning and going 'Yeah, so what? Big Deal....'

But, you know what? I had to learn the hard way, with a 'help' manual that by no means explains everything the Adobe Photoshop Limited Edition 5.0 has to offer, nor how to use it. So...I clickety clicked, futzed around, and screwed up more times this evening than I can count...and then...finally...

Finally...

I learned how to get a nice, sort of 3D pic--with actual layers no less! *grins stupidly* That's right...Anne has learned how to use the Layer Tool...let's hope she retains the knowledge past bed-time tonight...^^;

Behold the miracle! )

Of course, now I'm going to have to learn how to make clean edges...lol!!!
