I actually got to see the very last moments before totality last night...! Way cool. Mind you, I had to detach myself from the IM I was doing with Nic (Of Sian Elliot in HL fame) for a moment to do so, but since she was writing at the time, t'was okay...

It was awesome...just totally awesome. Of course, the clouds ate it about two seconds later, and I had to wait a half hour before I could go back and look at the pretty red moon, but at least I got to see the cool part...:D

In other news:

Shadrack is doing fine--seems the 7-Dust doesn't do a bit of harm, so as long as I don't feed him in his tank (which I don't anyway, because Stupid Human Tricks are not my thing), it looks like it will work out. Of course, he's informing me in that intent, voracious Kingsnake way of his that it's time to go mouse hunting...guess I know what I'll be doing come Friday afternoon...^^;

I'm feeling much better now, and not like I want to bite the head off of the nearest moving, breathing object, which is good. I really detest when my body produces such wonderful chemical shit. I have the intelligence to know what's going on if I'm paying attention, but all the smarts in the world won't keep the fritz from happening anyway. Best I can do is hang on and hope I don't screw up by chewing on other people.

Why in hell didn't I go for the full warranty plan, anyway? You know, the one that goes 'If it breaks for any reason, and we can't fix it, we'll take it back and replace it, no questions, guaranteed'.

I mean....really....can't I have a refund on this lemon? *grins*

Ah well, I'm working okay now, and no chewed off heads this time around...I think...^^;
