Good stuff
Jul. 10th, 2006 06:20 pmBeen hearing this song around for the past few weeks on the slower rock station down here.
Liking it a lot--very down south blues sounding with a lot of folk and hand-bone thrown in. I almost imagine this being sung by folks a hundred or so years ago, and can imagine things like spoons and the like being used for instrumentation. I'm actually wondering if it isn't an old folk song.
Very upbeat. Might have to get the album.
I didn't check real close, but I think the write-up says she's actually from the UK. I'd recommend looking it up and giving it a try.
