Should I or shouldn't I

Blow twelve dollars?

Work has this deal with Glamour Shots coming up where you can, for $12, get yourself made up in four different ways, get pics taken, and walk away with a decent pic of yourself (I'm presuming you can pay more if you want to buy the whole print run).

I'm debating doing this for a few reasons.

1) Taking pictures of myself is a pain in the ass
2) Other than self-pictures taken for the weight diary, I have no recent ones of me to show to other folks.
3) Someone else, who knows a lot more than I, can get me dolled up and hopefully looking good.
4) Might be fun.

So, guys, what's your take? Would you or would you not? Also, anyone else ever have this done, and what did you think of your experience?

Sometimes, the little victories are the best

The hospital where I work at is having an employee appreciation week, which included a free lunch and t-shirt today.

Not much victory on the lunch end since it's the usual 'picnic' faire (hot dogs, burgers, potato salads, etc), but I had one non-the-less.

If it had been this time last year, I would have had to ask for a 3X t-shirt, and even then, it might have been a little too tight in the chest. Today, I was able to ask for a large.

...And it's still relatively loose on me. :)

So

As I mentioned the other night, I went looking to see who exactly was on millionairematch.com, but found that in order to do anything, I had to at least sign up with a free account. So I did.

They haven't approved my profile yet.

I'm wondering if it's because they're trying to decide if putting up the profile of someone who probably makes less money a week than some of their primary clients' pets is really worth the trouble.
