You know, where air comes back up the pipes?
Where, if this were a horror flick, you know something would be waiting inside the basin to grab the next hapless person to be brave/dumb/unlucky enough to check to see what caused the noise?
...
Yeah, I checked. No, nothing was there; I heard more gargling deeper in the pipe system, maybe from the apartment next door, but nothing reached out of the depths of the sewage system to grab me by the face and attempt to pull me in.
...Yet.
