I had something, at any rate.

Those chips I ate?

Made me sick. I didn't barf because I took some meds, but...dude. I can't eat chips anymore! I even had to come home and go to bed for five hours to let my body sort itself out. Damn.

Ah well.

It's your new improved body. You just can't handle the crap food anymore.
OR, could just be too much grease on an empty stomach coupled with low blood sugar. It's not your fault, you had to fast. Just get back on track today with something easy on the stomach, like rice, and scrambled eggs, and apple slices.

You go! How long till you get the results of your bloodwork?

Probably a combination of the two--I've always had a tendency towards hypoglycemia (sp?), and I haven't really eaten much in the way of greasy/fried food since last June, except for pizza and the occasional veal parmesian/fried eggplant at work when I've forgotten my lunch (and that tends to make me slightly queazy as well. The food, I mean, not...er...whatever). Or very salty food for that matter, since I've been cutting as much of that out as I can as well.

I seem to be okay now--my coffee and granola cereal seems to be content, and the glass of V8 (low sodium), I had last night when I crawled out of bed for a few hours stayed down fine, too. Which is why I'm convinced it was the chips and not, like, oh say, stomach flu (because I'd still be ready to hurl if it were that).

Not sure, but probably I'll know when I go in next Wednesday after work for the actual poke-and-prod part of the check-up. This doc likes to have her bloodwork ready ahead of time, it seems. :)
