Because it doesn't make sense...I seem to have gotten bigger, even though I'm wearing smaller clothing.

Neck: 13 inches...now 13

Ribcage: 36 inches...now 35.5 (okay, that's better, anyway)
Breasts w/Bra: 44.5 inches...now 43
Breast w/out Bra: 43 inches...now 42

So, the upper is doing better, but then look at this (and this is where the new 14 jeans are O.o)

Waist: 34 inches...now 37! WTF?!
Hips: 46.5 inches...now 45.5 (okay, shrinkage there)

Upper Arm: 12 and 3/4 inches ..now 12 (Shrink...oh, okay.)
Upper Forearm: 10 inches...now 10.5 (Muscle?)
Wrist: 6 3/4 inches...now 6 and 3/4

Thigh: 23 1/4 inches...now 24 (Ow. And yet, they fit in a size 14 rather than a 16. I don't get it)
Knee: 14 inches...now 14
Calf: 16 inches...now 16.5 ( :/ )
Ankle: 9.5 inches...now 9.5

Okay, so only certain places got bigger, but still. O.o
Also, I rechecked my memories--I was only 5 pounds heavier last measuring, so maybe this is...I dunno...bloat? Heh. Okay, crisis over, although I'm still trying to figure out the 'more circumference, but smaller clothes' thing. *g*

Muscle is denser than fat. You will look slimmer, and your clothes will fit better, but the numbers may be higher that you expect. Crazy, huh? Another reason why we shouldn't pay so much attention to the number on the scale!!

er, yeah...except these are measurements, not the scale weight, which is what's not making sense to me. If my thighs are bigger around according to the tape measure, then shouldn't my pants be tighter rather than looser?
