First dentist appointment will be next Monday. It's going to be a full check-out; x-rays, cleaning, poke and prod and all of that. I expect it to last at least a few houra, considering they decided 3:30 wasn't early enough to start (and he closes at 6) :/. I'm just glad I never got the apparently common fear of dentists. I'd already be beside myself from fearful anticipation.
Ah well, at least I'm on my way to at least seeing what needs to be done to replace the teeth.
The good news about all that is that I found out just how good the new insurance is in regards to providers--I can go where-ever I want. :)
It's already down to 33 degrees here, and just now 6pm. Tomorrow morning is going to be insanely cold for Texas.
Todays eyeshadow got a lot more compliments than yesterdays--seems I do better with a teal-silver, bluish-grey combo than with the recommended color combo for green eyes, which is Light green, dark green and plum. Today's choice also helped to darken my eyes up and make them stand out, rather than paling them out like most make-up tends to do. So at least for 'dress up days', I think I've found my combo.
So the rest of the week will be learning how to put on shadow that just makes me look healthy, and not made up.
Also: definitely edging the heat up to 70. I'm finding out where all the 'leaks' in my apartment are tonight. Once I take my bath and do my cardio for the night though, I may edge it back down to 65 and hide under the blankets and a warm sweater. Not right now, though, not during bathtime. Brrrrrrr.

And hey, YOU GO GIRL! So glad to see you're doing great. In spite of the frigid temp that is.

Date: 2008-01-23 05:41 pm (UTC)If I wear clothes with blues, teals, greys/grey-toned blues and greens, and certain pastels, my eyes will reflect those colors (which is why, I think, a lot of people think my eyes are hazel instead). They usually don't pick up on yellows unless they're real pale and/or real dusky, and then my eyes pale out rather than actually look yellow or amber. Reds pale my eyes out as well (but make the rest of me look great, so there's a decent trade-off on that one. :) )
