(Since when did I get into all of this, anyway? Clue, Ken...wasn't I the tomboy back in the day?? WTF? When did I start giving a shit about all of this?)

Anyhow...

The verdict seems to be:

For everyday wear, I seem to do best with a sand/copper/cream combination.

Next best everyday was the old set of pinks/roses I've kept a compact of ever since HS when I realized there were indeed some places you should wear make-up to, whether you wanted to or not.

For evening/make my eyes look as obvious as possible (without looking stupid) wear, the best combo seems to be a silver-blue/greenish denim blue/teal combo. I can get away with just about any blue-green combo, actually, as long as I keep the upper brow in a light white, pink-white, or blue/green white.

Blues make me look like I'm back in the 80's, although they do make my eyes pop out *g*. The plums and yellow greens that are 'recommended' for my eye color? Doesn't matter how I put it on, or how light--it just makes my eyes look bruised. Probably because they're already 'bruised' looking that way without make-up.

R, you'll be glad to know that just about every color in that compact you sent me passed muster when I'd ask folks how I looked--even the dark brown and blue.

Now, here's the bad news. My blurry eyes? Seem to be a result of the eyepowder. Today, I'm back to using the usual treatment, which is just the foundation on my lids to hide the raccoon markings and nothing else. Likewise, over the weekend, I had a lot less problems with my eyes blurring out because I wasn't using make-up at all (In fact, I thought they had finally cleared). So I'll be going back to 'normal' for this week and see if my eyes clear up. If they do...then...I dunno. Any suggestions?

Just for reference, Cover Girl products (which is what the foundation is), seem to do me less harm--my eyes weren't as bad on those days. (Does this make me a cheap date?)

So...yeah. My choices seem to be no make-up, or be blurry. :/
