Oh, GOD, so did I. There's one scene after Kitt gets mangled in some godawful escapade where she's helping them wheel him into the Semi, and they have an exchange along these lines:
"...where am I? It's so....dark, Bonnie, is it nighttime?"
"Ye-ess, yes, it's night. Don't worry, Kitt, you'll be all right. I'll take care of you."
