I hate JCAHO

Actaully, I don't hate JCAHO...what I hate is suddenly getting descended upon by tens of medical staff who suddenly need supplies, forms, and safety-type equipment and clean up supplies that they should already have in their area the year through.

And don't.

And yet, somehow, their laziness and lack of foresight (and just plain flat out not following the rules and laws set out by JCAHO in the first place), constitutes an emergency on *my* part.

Say what?

Excuse me, folks...but I thought you were the professionals in this building? The ones who went through all those classes so you could earn the big bucks, and yet something as simple as keeping masks, gloves, gowns and goggles (and certain types of soaps--let's not forget those) in stock until it's absolutely necassary because The Big Guns That Can Shut You Down happen to be taking a three day tour of your workplace, escapes you??

Excuse me while I laugh my non-college ass off at you. And, BTW--I'm busy doing my job, which involves making sure all those supplies you are so desperate for actaully make it in through the door in the first place. So please don't get pissy with me if I don't leap to help you out immediately if not yesterday. I've been doing my job, including all the little piddly shit things JCAHO expects us to do the whole time.

This is going to be a loooooonnnnnnggggg three days.

Someone pass the ammo....I might need it. For myself if nothing else...
