The state of the Foot
Mar. 26th, 2008 10:00 pmSo this morning, we had the 'let's see if we can get Mom up an hour early to feed me' test.
It didn't work as planned for her; I can sleep through kitty noise. :)
Anyhow, I Has Foot Pics. You can has Foot pics, too.

Date: 2008-03-27 03:13 pm (UTC)There are a few noises she's gotten used to--like the squeaky faucet turners in the kitchen (I accidentally scared her off her dinenr a few times before she figured out that was an 'okay' sound), or when I trip over something suddenly, or the neighbor upstairs that occasionally thuds around (he/she doesn't do it all the time, and never at the same time, either). But other things like the mailman opening the boxes outside (I'm right next to those), or sudden thuds out of nowhere make her crouch and/or jump a little. Sometimes, she'll listen to me and relax when I tell her it's okay, but other times, she'll still head for the bed.
Oddly enough, the vaccum cleaner doesn't seem to phase her at all (most cats are terrifed of it).
