I just spent the whole day writing...and rewriting...and rewriting...and rewriting the prelude to my original story...and now I have a headache that could rival Godzilla for Tokyo Pounding Rights.

Yowch.

I'd forgotten what it was like to really push myself to write well and edit my work until it was good...or at least a reasonable fascimile of good.

I hope.

Anyhow...at least the prelude is done...now I need to go chain myself to the couch again and start on Chapter One proper...if I can quit dithering on when, exactly, the story opens...
