Ten Things I've Done That You May Not Have
1) Performed a shamanistic cleansing on a house. Granted, I realize most people reading this probably don't believe in such things...but whether you do or not, the friend never had a problem with 'unwanted visitors' after that--so whatever it is other folks might want to call it, it worked.
2)Suffered from, figured out, and 'integrated' my own MPD..before I even knew what MPD was (and yes, it is still noisy in here sometimes--just not enough, and not confusing enough, for me to get diagnosed with schizophrenia instead).
3) Had major, life saving surgery at the age of two weeks to remove an ovarian tumor.
4) Have dropped a 90lb vaccum cleaner on my face, standing near the top of a fifteen foot ladder. Miraculously, I did not fall off, or break either my glasses or my nose....The vaccum cleaner however...well...um...^^; (guess the guys shouldn't have stored the thing on a shelf 25 feet up...).
5) Have been inside the subway system that connected the House of Representatives to the Senate, and met several senators over the years via my Grandfather, who worked as a health consultant and massuse for the government.
6) Have been chased onto a bathroom sink by a pissed off (and only 2 inch long) bark scorpion.
7) Have had a black widow spider take up residence in the passenger footwell of my car for a week...and then leave when I finally asked it to politely go away (although I suspect that really what drove it off, no pun intended, was having to put up with the vibration of my car as I traveled to classes and back home everyday).
8) Have met and been invited to lunch by former Senator 'Scoop' Jackson.
9) Have been followed by a coyote to my bus stop.
10) Have met Mark Hamill while he was in New York playing the role of Amadeus...in Amedeus. Mind you, being maybe 11 at the time, I was too busy gaping to say much of anything...^^;
