It all depends on how your bylaws are written if it can be changed mid-year or not. However, you'd *think* that if the board of directors wanted to change something bad enough that they could.

Well, yes, that's the point, though. Between bylaws and crappy planning, the people actually doing the jobs that all this nifty equipment is for aren't there to use the shit in the first place, so it's a huge waste in money all around.

But since the focus is on 'nifty shit' and keeping up with the Joneses, rather than treating the employees well and giving them support they need (which would actually benefit the compnay more--happy employees fucntion better, even if they don't have 'up to date' stuff to help them). And in a service industry, they're cutting their throats even further, because those people who cna still afford medical services, cna also afford to be picky.

So, knowing that, are you going to go to the understaffed hospital with the stressed out employess that just might screw everything up due to said stress, or are you going to seek out one where they have plenty of staff that are happy, are less stressed fro, overwork and therefore taking more pride and care with their work?
