NEW YORK - New York City officials say Bon Jovi will play at a free concert in Central Park this summer.

The concert will be held July 12th.

The concert is billed as a prelude to the July 15th All-Star baseball game, which will highlight the final season at Yankee Stadium.

Jon and I have suffered from bad timing our whole relationship, what with him never coming here to see me anymore...ah well, such is life. He doesn't need Little Rock; he's moved on to bigger things like free concerts in Central Park. At least they still put out CDs.

In other news, Styx are coming to play a Harley-Davidson rally in Hot Springs this September, so I might get to see Tommy n' JY soon.

Aw, I'm sure he still loves you. I can't even get him to come over to my side of the stage even when I'm up on it. I end up having to flirt with his rhythm guitarist instead. ;)

It's okay though, because I think I was the shortest girl up there...and in the back of the mass of girls anyway. My only fortune was that at least the walkway leading to the audience on his left side was right next to me. So I didn't get any closer to Jon than ten feet, and Richie and David were on the other side of the stage. Hugh never got any closer than five feet either, so that left the other guy...who was right there, kept enough just distance to keep us from being able to touch him, but enjoyed getting some of the attention I and the girl next to me was giving him.

Jon better watch it; if he doesn't pay more attention to us girls in the back, he'll lose us to his backup! *g*
