Ula is twice as long, and half as chubby as Foot.

Also, she has the long oriental breed tail...which is a trip to see after three months of Foot's short little tail. I keep thinking she has too much.

Foot is confused by the whole thing; Ula is clearly still a bit scared.

Ula hisses and growls as soon as she sees Foot (yes, they seemed to be doing well, so I opened the bedroom door). Foot...stares, tries to go forward to greet, will stop, fluff, hiss back if Ula keeps going on, and then will eventually back away and trot off. I'm not sure if that means she feels secure and is just trying to make friends, or if she's scared too and just doesn't think she could 'take' Ula.

Both of them have an unwritten agreement right now: Ula is under the bed and has the bedroom. Foot is hanging out in the rest of the place. Occasionally, Foot will venture into the bedroom a little, but backs out with a little hiss as soon as Ula starts up. So far, other than a lot of noise, there hasn't been any altercations. Since it's a small one bedroom apartment, I can keep easy eye on this and have been. If it gets ugly, Foot will get shooed out and the door closed again (I'm also considering doing that tomorrow before I go to work, to forstall anything possibly ugly happening when I'm not around with a squirt bottle).

Both of them are fine with me coming up and petting and stuff, so human ownership (or fear of said human) doesn't seem to be an issue, Ula's insistence on camping out under the bed right now not-with-standing.

Foot's one obvious protest to all this was to barf up breakfast this morning. She ate again, and second breakfast stayed down. Ula's breakfast is near the edge of the bed where she's hiding; I'm checking every hour or so to see if she's eaten. So far, food untouched, but she has drank, so now I'm watching her litterbox as well.
