Other than the joys and woes of WoW (I was a bit grouchy when I posted about the owl hunter quest last night. It was past my bedtime, you see...)?

Foot and Ula are consistantly sharing space now--they sleep on either side of me. When I'm at the desk, one is often sleeping on the desk (usually Foot, although sometimes Ula gets there first), and the other on the sofa arm behind my chair, and are a mere foot away from each other. The chasing is pretty evenly distributed now--Ula is giving as good as she gets. Nose greeting at meal times and in passing are getting more common, and Ula has even managed to bathe Foot's head several times before Foot can pull away and meow in protest--kinda like a 4 year old kid telling her mom she doesn't need a bath, thank you.

Ula goes to the vet for her yearly shots and checkup today. I already know she has worms, thanks to her little hitchhiker 'friend' waving hello last Thursday before she ate it while bathing, so am expecting a charge for meds on that corner. I'm also going to find out if my worry about her weight (whereas Foot is a bit chubby, Ula is pretty skinny, although she came that way, and looks okay. BUT, I think she needs some more padding) is well founded or if I'm just too used to having chubby kitties. If I'm lucky, it's a side effect of having tapeworms for who knows how long now, or even a normal weight for her size and breed. If not...then yeah, I'm really worried. She's not insured, you see, so if it's something major, I'm going to be in a fix. :/

I did the local walk for a cure for breast cancer this past Saturday. It was actually kinda fun--my depertment at work went as a group (although some of us were...um...faster than others). I was really sore though Sunday and Monday--my glutes really hated me for a bit. Which tells me I need to start walking more on my own again.

My dad and grandma have b-days this upcoming month, so I'm already reminding myself I need to get cards and get them out mid-month. I'm notoriously bad about this kind of thing, but at least this year, I'm actually aware of what time of the year it is long before two days before or after the fact.

I did a few more fast sketch ideas, but nothing that counts as visually viable for other folks. This weekend, I plan on peeling myself away from WoW on occasion to actually do some arty stuff.

Other than that, not much is going on. I plan on getting my hunter for T her kitty after I take Ula to the vets, and then switch over to Anyada for a bit and get her up to level 10-15. :)

Some people watch TV after a hard day at work. I kill things online. ;)

Oh yeah--happy fall and belated good wishes for the equinox. :3

Bleh--tapeworms are just disgusting. Kitty had it only once about a year or so ago. What you can get is Tape Worm Tabs (Here's (http://www.carealotpets.com/images/items/1787Lg.jpg) what they look like; your vet might give you some but I dunno).

Kitty got 1 & 1/2 tablets, but it was more like 2 tablets because he hates pills. After the pills went in I never saw those little segments again, worked that fast! And Kitty didn't lose any of his weight when he had them; he was still 'fluffy' as ever.. he just harbored some.. ehh, little friends D:!

Yeah. I've had cats with tapeworms before, which is why I recognized the little wriggly 'rice grain' right away for what it was. The vet of course needs to see a sample first, which I can understand--the wrong meds are not a good idea, and this is a new vet so she doesn't know I know what tapeworms look like.

Hopefully Ula will be easy about the pills.

Ahh; I actually got the tabs without going to the vet. If you have a Callahans nearby, they sell the tabs ;)

Pill popper, you should see if your vet carries them! It'll make your life 10 times easier... well, giving pills to cats anyway! *dies*
