One thing I know for sure about WoW

It's going to be a very long time before I can do raid content.

Went to just sit and watch an attack on Sylvanis in UC tonight, and my fp dropped to 6 before I even cleared the door into the royal chamber. And this was after a day of cleaning out my computer, deleting bad files, defragging everything, taking off programs I'm not ever likely to use, etc.

I have a bad feeling trying to go to Dalaran/Northrend will not be in the cards for me unless I can somehow upgrade my laptop.

Suck. Guess it's a good thing I don't mind doing solo, and that I'm not desperate to see every single ounce of the content.

Bummer.

Also, we went from 69 to 31 in three hours. Yo, hai thar, Texas weather. Eat me.

Raid content isn't that bad. It's just tons of people trying to cram into one screen at once that kills your vid card

Well, see, if I were to ever do one of the bigger raids, I'd be fubar'd (also, I've already heard horror stories about just trying to get around in Dalaran XD). My normal fps is only about 15-20 anyway (it can get up to 31 if I'm 'inside' a small room on a good day). I dread Org during peak hours.

I'll likely start researching anyway; I doubt I can get very good upgrades for the vid card at this point, but at least I can start planning for an actual desk top PC, and then retire this baby to offline projects and art programs.
