And they apparently love me. :)

How do I know this? Yesterday, both of them squeezed into the very small 'spaces' on either side of my leg while I was dozing/watching TV in the recliner for several hours...even though normally they can only stand being that close to each other for maybe ten minutes before someone has to object and start a swat-fest (which usually ends with at least one of them vacating the area), not to mention, Foot is not much of a lap cat, but...there she was.

Last night, they both curled up next to me, purring, all night.
They napped on the bathroom rug while I took a bath.

When I curled up in the chair-and-a-half, Foot tried to curl up next to my head, and when that didn't work out too well, curled up in the computer chair (normally Ula's spot) next to where my feet were hanging. Ula stretched out in front of the chair. And more purring.

As of right now, I'm back in the recliner, with the laptop on my lap (no room for cats), but both of them have picked sleeping spots in various cat beds so that they can keep an eye on me...which they do often in between the bathing routines going on.

I do believe I'm surrounded by furry little nurse maids!

I love how animals just have a natural sense of when part of their "family" is ill.

This is the first time I've been miserably sick since I've had both of them. I'm pretty impressed by it all, since although they don't fight with each other like they used to, they do get jealous when they think 'the other one' is getting more attention than them. It's like they've called a cease fire for the moment on my behalf. It's kinda sweet.

Awwwww.

Roarke always knows when I have a migraine. He gets extra cuddly and pretty much purrs non-stop when he is in the bed with me.

He is also careful not to climb on me when I am sick. I think it comes from the time when he was about a year old and climbed onto me when I had the flu. (15 pound cat and upset stomach do not mix). He did not appreciate getting vomited on.

That made me laugh and go 'ew' at the same time. Poor kitty! But at least now he knows!

He sounds like a real sweety. :)

Relatively speaking, yes. It's starting to migrate south, which is usually a sign that my body is whipping ass and taking names, which in turn means I should be mostly healed up within a few days. Good news is that my body, when taken care of properly, is pretty good at rallying itself. :)
