That's just the comm where the article is featured. If you click the link to where the video is, the video starts automatically, just as a warning. It's not too graphic, but can still be upsetting.

For the record, if I ever find myself on a fishing trip with someone like this, they'll wish I called animal control on them by the time I'm done with them.

(Honestly though, there are people who would do this, so although this guy may be a fake, I'm sure someone somewhere has done this or something similar. Yes, I do think that little of people sometimes.).

You'd be surprised at how many people I've met (notably most were men) who would at least think this would be a funny joke.

My family both fishes and hunts.

We are also respectful and careful.

Even if the intended fish needs live bait, we treat the bait well (the 'survivors' are set free in an appropriate place after the day is done).

And it sure as hell doesn't have four legs and fur.

whew. That's fake but I have heard of warnings about not to give away free kittens because people will use them as hunting bait for their hunting dogs and target practice for wannabe squirrel hunters and other such nonsense.

Still, this jackass is making money off people who are truly concerned about animal welfare.

So I just sent his website link to the ASPCA with a 'hey, did you know this guy is using your name and mission in bad faith?'

...Yes, I'm a vindictive bitch. Be glad I'm not PETA crazy. ;)
