Okay, so last night's lesson was 'Anne, you're getting older and your circulation sucks, so don't be bouncing to your feet.'
Which I did.
At which point my left ankle (which had been asleep) promptly informed me that that had been a very bad idea by not supporting my left foot. Which went sideways and limp when I put it down.
You know, even when deprived of blood circulation, your body can feel massive ankle poppage.
So, spent the rest of the night massaging out the VERY FREAKING TENSE NOW, THANK YOU BITCH muscles and ligaments there.
I can walk almost normally.
No pain, so I didn't break or tear anything, I just can't quite lift the toes and front of my left foot off the ground without strain and fighting past a certain point.
And I've got a hell of a goose egg on the outside of my ankle.
So, that's five points for 'suck', three for 'good news'.
Hmn...maybe I should make a score counter out of that...
