*hugs* Thanks. The visible damage seems to be limited mostly to my upper lip, both in and outside, and the pain is pretty localized, so I suspect I'll be fine. :)
You know what's sad? Right after I'd clocked myself and was sitting on the floor waiting for the supervisor, I had my hand cupped under my nose to catch the blood...and I was comparing notes to how much was in my hand compared to how much we used to watch our favorite anime guys lose. And for a second, I was pretty sure I had at least one of them beat.
