Yes. There is a huge housing problem. Right now, I have my lair in a wizard's dome, with about 20 billion stolen lamps and candles lighting the place.
The amusing thing is, my character is an honorable assassin in the Morag Tong--the grandmaster, and they're not supposed to steal from anyone. But half the light sources you buy don't work. So I come through town and suddenly everyone who had pretty candlesticks, shiny candleabras, or lovely paper lamps thinks it's a lot darker in there. (I covet two people's Telvanni Bug Lamps. I've found one for sale, unlit, and seen two lying around being all bright. I'm going to go back and betheif someday.)
If you grab Bloodmoon, you can eventually get an item that allows you to blatantly murder anyone you care to, but you never get it linked to you. Grab Bloodmoon.
